We were delighted to attend the virtual official opening of the NHS Nightingale Hospital Exeter on Monday 6th July 2020, hosted by Philippa Slinger, Lead Chief Executive, for the NHS Devon Sustainability and Transformation Partnership.

Dearden HR are proud to have supported this vital initiative by leading on the workforce planning and set up during the implementation phase co-designing workforce modelling, recruitment, training and induction, wellbeing solutions with clinical and non-clinical colleagues, ensuring a smooth transition to the host Trust. It was a privilege to work with a range of talented teams across the SW Peninsula including colleagues from the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust and other NHS organisations within Devon and Cornwall, plus colleagues from NHSE/I, Devon CCG, the military, Health Education England, the South West Leadership Academy, and regional and national trade union representatives.

The Nightingale is a fantastic addition and it was great to see the end result and what can be achieved within such a short time. We were delighted to play a part in this amazing endeavour, and we wish the teams well for the future.
